A few close friends of mine here are preparing to go back to the States and thinking about the strange transition back. I remember what it’s like to come back from an overseas experience and the struggle to adequately express what that time looked, tasted, and smelled like. I can only imagine what it will be like to come back after this season, so I think it would be a good idea to get a head start. I am trying to copy some pictures which hopefully give a small picture of what life looked like here.
